    Preserving and Preparing

My primary goal on council will be to preserve Plymouth’s character as a safe, pro-business city while ensuring ALL residents can feel safe in their own skin. This includes preparing for the inevitable growth of the metro area and addressing affordable housing shortages. It also includes maintaining open communication with our commercial and industrial business communities to preserve their ability to operate thriving businesses in Plymouth.

    Safe Neighborhoods for All

I believe Everyone should be able to feel safe in their own skin and have a safe place to call home. Where kids can walk and bike to friends’ homes, and folks can barbeque outside with neighbors. For me that includes a compassionate and well-funded Public Safety department that has the best tools, training and staff to keep everyone safe and free to focus on the work and life experiences that matter most to them.

    Support Natural Spaces and Parks

A top priority for me will be supporting Plymouth’s natural spaces and parks, including one of Plymouth’s crown jewels, Medicine Lake. Not only does this support the ecological health of our environment locally and globally, doing so also provides restorative community spaces for our residents and visitors.
